SAMSUNG GALAXY ZFOLD3 RETAIL EXpERIENCES

BACKGROUND
Our audience is looking for a top-tier device that will keep their busy life organized right in their pocket. Here enters: Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. However, this device is not like any of the other smartphones on the market. The purpose of Samsung’s retail experiences, Retail Mode and RMX, is to shorten the learning curve and make our target audience more comfortable to make their next big purchase.

ABOUT RETAIL MODE

Retail Mode is what we call the in-store, on-device experience, enhanced with with instinctual UX layouts, easy-to-follow interactive demos, high-fidelity CGI and live action videos, animated widgets, and beautiful photography. All these elements combined create excitement and give consumers the information they need to make the final decision to buy.

 

INTERACTIVE DEMO
Z Fold3’s Retail Mode had to do more than any other Galaxy device’s in-store experience. I conceptualized the idea of including an interactive demo that taught our target audience the shortcuts that defined the ease of using the Galaxy Z Fold3 in one’s everyday life. This demo educated potential consumers how to multitask using the split screen function.

From the timing between each indicator that instructed our audience what action to take next to the design of the demonstration, each detail was carefully thought-through and curated for the best user experience.

ABOUT RMX
In addition to Retail Mode, the experience that lived on in-store display phones, we built an online microsite - RMX - allowing consumers to continue the experience at home. We know that purchasing a new smartphone is a big decision that often takes more than one trip to the store. RMX is an innovative product experience that captivates, educates, and converts consumers by putting everything they would want and need to know about this device in one place.
